Information for lecturers

• Upon arrival at Santiago de Compostela Airport, you can take the 6A city bus from outside the terminal to the Santiago train station.
• From the Santiago train station, you can catch a Renfe train to Ourense. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Renfe’s website.

Travel Time: The train journey takes approximately 35 minutes, depending on the service.

Distance to Ourense: Approximately 90 km.
Transportation Options:

• From Vigo Airport, take a bus or taxi to the Vigo-Guixar train station.
• Regular Renfe trains operate between Vigo and Ourense, with an approximate travel time of 1 hour. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Renfe’s website
• Buses are also available from Vigo bus station to Ourense, providing an alternative to the train. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Omio’s website

Travel Time: The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the service.

Distance to Ourense: Approximately 180 km.

You can take a train from Porto to Vigo and then connect to Ourense by train or bus. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Renfe’s website or Omio’s website
Travel Time: The journey is fairly long and takes approximately 5.5 to 7 hours, depending on the service.

Madrid offers a high-speed AVE train service directly to Ourense, making it a convenient option for those flying into Spain’s capital. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Renfe’s website
